After invitation, attend the appointment at the date, place, and time provided by the Department.

After approval, most applicants attend a citizenship ceremony and make the pledge of commitment.

Test Format
What is in the Australian citizenship test? / 考试内容是什么？
The official practice test explains that the citizenship test gives 45 minutes for 20 multiple-choice questions. To pass, applicants must answer all 5 Australian values questions correctly and get at least 15 out of 20 overall.
官方练习测试说明：考试时间为 45 分钟，共 20 道选择题。通过要求是 5 道澳洲价值观题全部正确，并且总分至少 15/20，也就是 75%。
The test is in English. The questions are based on Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, which includes Australia and its people, democratic beliefs, government and law, and Australian values.

Use a 45-minute timer so reading, choosing, skipping, and checking become familiar before the appointment.

Appointment waiting times vary. The Department sends a letter with the date, place, and time of the appointment after receiving the application.
Receiving the appointment letter / 收到考试通知
The Department of Home Affairs says applicants will be invited to attend a citizenship appointment and will receive a letter with appointment details. Waiting times vary by test centre.
内政部说明，收到申请后会邀请申请人参加 citizenship appointment，并发送包含时间、地点的信件。不同考点等待时间不同。
Changing the appointment / 修改考试时间
If you need to change an appointment, follow the instructions in the official letter or your ImmiAccount. Do this early and keep evidence of any change.

On the test day / 考试当天
Bring required identity documents, arrive early, follow officer instructions, and do not use notes, books, phones, or other electronic devices during the test.

After the Test
Approval, ceremony, and pledge / 考完以后、批准和宣誓
Passing the test is an important step, but it may not be the final legal step. After the application is approved, most applicants must attend a citizenship ceremony. At the ceremony, applicants make the Australian citizenship pledge of commitment.
通过考试是非常重要的一步，但通常不是最后的法律步骤。申请批准以后，大多数申请人需要参加入籍仪式，并在仪式上宣读澳洲公民 pledge。
Ceremonies are often hosted by local councils on behalf of the Department. Ceremony timing depends on your council area and demand. You usually receive an invitation before the ceremony.
